    I want to play a new MMORPG.. need advice.

    Nothing biz related in here.

    After playing guildwars, WoW, and SWG im looking for a new MMORPG game in that genre,
    Should have LOTS of players, and prefered is a fairly new game.

    Anyone in here play a nice new one thats alike those but still very popular?

    Which ones, and lemme know if there are trialdownloads for it so i can give it a try!

          Warhammer... getting better every fucking day. They have been expanding that fucking game since I was in beta and it is UNREAL how much better the game has become.

                  Ok gonna check those out.

                  Been checking some online sites about mmorpgs, and think aion or something looks cool but is in beta, and chronicles of spellborn looks nice but im not sure if many people play it. Startrek looks ok, but im trying to find out if its already launched.

                      Be sure to check out Aion dunno if it is allready released or not have too less time to waist on games anyways check out AION it looks amazing one of the better ingame fly capability mmorpgs its from same company that made lineage2 if you didnt played that one check it out also was addicted to that game for 2 months or so XDXD offcourse on private server XD

                                  I really liked Eve when I played and it's even bigger and better now.

                                  I gave it up because it was too time consuming but it's a good game.

                                  I might give it another try this winter.

                                      Custom Team Play Feature, it's so sick! and the first sports mmorpg.
                                      You have your own character, and you play just your position with other people playing positions. Best sports game ever, until nhl 2010 that is.

                                                              I've been playing EVE for three years and I'm enjoying it more than ever. I expect to have my accounts until they take down the servers.

                                                              However, it's often not enjoyed by people coming from the Everquest/WoW universe of MMORPGs. It's too harsh, and many days it moves slowly. You can spend days on logistics if you aren't careful.

                                                              I'm hearing really excellent things about DarkFall right now, also.

                                                              My biggest problem with MMORPGs is that every little while I start going "I can play with porn on Screen A and make money, or I can play with internet spaceships on Screen B and make fake money. Why am I playing this game again?"

                                                                      I still dabble in City Of Heroes, on the Villain side.

                                                                      Not a new game, but still very active and they keep coming out with cool new features. The Mission Architect is unlike anything I've ever seen in a MMORPG. You can make your own custom missions filled with enemies you create from scratch, designing their costumes, selecting their powers, etc. It's surprisingly easy and nearly limitless, whether you want to battle cybernetic zombies or firebreathing strippers or rabid easter bunnies, if you can imagine it you can probably do it. Then everyone else can play though what you've made.

                                                                                              As an avid gamer, WOW is no addictive than any other game really.

                                                                                              However, the way WOW is set up, it will begin to eat your time if you plan on doing any of the endgame stuff. The gold sinks begin to take too much time, and its not worth it. I reached that point and realized it was simply way too demanding, left the account sit months without playing it and then just cancelled it.

                                                                                              at the point you are no longer "playing the game" but just gearing up for the next dungeon, its pathetic.

                                                                                              And as for "fun", the only time I had fun on WOW was when player killing, never liked quests and stuff. I only kept the account so I could log on and kill people with my rogue lol I have more "fun" playing my NEW Megaman carts than WOW

                                                                                              sneaking up behind someone stealthed (invisible) and ambushing them for most of ther health and then poisoning them with dagger swipes was fun, but games like Ultima Online are not only more addictive but more fun, imho.

                                                                                              wow stops being "fun" real quick and just begins to be a grind. grinding quests for leveling etc removes all fun from the game.

                                                                                              my advise is

                                                                                                                                  In WOW you kill someone, you get nothing, but in UO, you feel like you actually killed your opponent and you can remove their gear from their corpse and walk off with it.

                                                                                                                                  so fun, player killer for life. killing monsters in any game is so easy there is no challenege in anything, killing players is the only challenege left in gaming for me. Mobs are so unintelligent they present no challenege, however the human you play always gonna have his skill or not. Once I crossed over into player hunting, killing monsters became lame.

They still add on to it every couple months. The guildwars are always a blast. I plyed for a good solid year and a half before I decided work was more important.
