I need a server

I'm looking to make a move and I'll probably have to make it quick.

I need a dedicated server, 10mbps line. (I'll buy 15+ if the price is right)
About 10 IP's, catch all email addresses for each domain, SSI etc etc

I don't run any scripts or anything like that, so basically I just need a big pipe and a server that can handle the load.

You will move my files from my current server to yours.

You will offer 24/7 tech support and MEAN IT!! (I'm going to call your tech support on Xmas day and if no one is there I'll move again on Jan 1)

DO NOT offer me cogent bandwidth, I don't want it, don't need it, don't like it. Tier 1 bandwidth only.

DO NOT tell me to hit you up on ICQ, post an offer on the board or send it to my email address.

DO NOT tell me to contact so and so, they'll hook me up. If so and so wants to hook me up they can contact me themselves.

I'd like to be running on a new server by Dec 1. (I know that's a tight timeframe, but I don't want to pay for another month where I'm at)

Post your offer here or send it to Lenny at amateurcleavage dot com.

Just check the domains' profile. I don't to post an example of a host but let's take GFY

http://www.fixedorbit.com/cgi-bin/cg...ckyourself.com

You can see who providers connectivity for GFY

Now click that provider's link and see their uplinks
http://www.fixedorbit.com/AS/14/AS14051.htm

If when you search a host, you first get a provider isn't a tier-1 then it's resold bandwidth or bandwidth that routes through a sister company. You may also want to look to see how many uplinks the host has. Each entry in their AS (if all are tier-1) is an uplink to the Internet.

If you have any questions.. post here or ICQ me.

I see the offers out there for 10 meg @ 900-1000.. I think that's just dandy. For what it's worth, I'll offer our everyday price of $1500 for 10mbit that is fully burstable with all of the other criterion that you're looking for.

Sure... and maybe we can send you some hookers and coccaine too!

If I was going to whore out my hosting for less than regular advertised pricing, it certainly wouldn't be in a threaded discussion...

lmao

Cable and Worthless is OK bandwidth if you don't require technical support on their side.

I used them at one point and they would not even have an engineer look at the circuit unless it was DOWN FOR 1 HOUR! WTF?

I understand hosts have their own engineers. I was talking about if you have a problem that is on the C&W end - they pretty much tell you tuff shit for 60 minutes before you can speak to an engineer.

You should put those specials on your public site so everybody can take advantage of them instead of just the chosen few

I'd take you up on it but my hosting arrangements are, well, spoken for. LOL

I want to thank everyone who took the time to make me an offer yesterday, especially considering it was a holiday.

I decided to go with Phil because I feel he has the best network and support infrastructure. (He didn't have the lowest price.)

Thanks again to everyone for their time.

Are you tlakin C&W AS3561 or exodus owned by C&W big diffrence. I used to work as an engineer for C&W and I can tell you this was not the normal case, I say many cleints cleint and speak with an engineer over a past outage, hell I was paged out of bed one nite cause a UUnet fuck up casused greif for one of our clients.
