          what I mean was that the Tubes went pretty much mainstream in this industry.

          you know the cat is out of the bag when even some mediocre designers now have networks of their own tubes they are looking to trade traffic with http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=909293

                                                                                  If you think tubes have no effect on sales slowing down, you have to be pretty blind. Free porn, shady billing practices and a bad ecomomy are the big three factors in the decline in sales. Do you really think tubes help the industry at all? Just because you and a select group of others are making good money with tubes doesn't mean its a viable income stream that can be replicated over and over again like tgps.
