I have never cookie stuffed ever on any of my sites.. but then again I don't really see the huge benefit either... the only advantage cookie stuffing gives you is if the surfer actually signs up... if they don't then so what? They have a cookie for a site they aren't joining....
Or are we talking about re-setting cookies to be lifetime instead of the standard 10 days or whatever?

Person visits a teen porn site dumping cookies, clicks one of the banners and backs out. He has been stuffed with every cookie from every teen paysite. He backs out, and joins any other paysite in the serps, the cookier gets paid for that join to any site, because he has cookied them as a referer.
It's very easy to patrol against this on a paysite level, almost all those sales will come no-refer or from pages without the link on them.
