The designs are basic, as I do that part myself as well, but the members I have seem to like the clean layouts, and easy navigation. I agree that the designs could be flashier, but sometimes a great looking cover still leads to a crappy book. My content is solid within itself, and the sites deliver what they promise, provided that is what you are looking for of course. |

The tours look "old" and don't compliment the content well - the thumbnails are too small and the white outer glow is just
 . There are no dates on the page, not even a copyright year. The surfer has no idea if the site (and members area) was updated yesterday or 10 years ago.

imo, the landing pages are a bit "boring" regardless of the content. turn them into teaser pages, get the visitor to click 2 or 3 times into the site and your chance for converting them will be a lot higher
