I use 2 tools to find what I get, and at this point they're so little known that someone would have to pay me a lot for me to tell them. I've been focusing on traffic names trying to keep my parking revenue afloat amidst all the decline and recently picked up an adult .info (approx 60 cents when GoDaddy was running their buy one get one free on .info) that's been doing about 120-150 uniques and $1.50/$2 a day like clockwork in parking. The funny thing is I bet it'd have sat for weeks even if I didn't get it. That said, it's still hit or miss as to whether something I get is making money even if it gets traffic...I might go back to focusing on quality ones again as I'm sure there's more opportunity now for sure. I'll say this - speaking of traffic names, whoever jumped on Bing.com typos or were lucky enough to simply have them (i.e. the 4-letter and 3-letter ones that would have already been registered) are going to be the luckiest SOBs...imagine all of a sudden having typos of the #5 trafficked site in the world (lower probably because search is the only Live.com aspect moved over to Bing.com afaik but still). All of a sudden Bong.com for instance is or will gradually begin to be getting another 5k hits a day or so at least.

				 | It's true, the funniest part is, I still see one chick/company on here acquiring/registering the shittiest domains possible, I laugh every time I visit the buy/sell section. |

				 | I agree with XPays! The reduction in domain tasting has made a HUGE difference! Don't forget to check out SnapNames.com SnapNames, a member of the Oversee.net family of companies, was formed in 2000 to provide the first commercially available technology for "back-ordering" a currently registered domain name. This pioneering service helped customers gain access to domain names that were thought to be forever out of reach. In reality, most domain names cycle back into the market at some point in time, though without specialized help, most people are unable to find or buy them. Today, SnapNames acquires and offers by auction the majority of expired domain names from each of the major top-level domains. More than 100 million names worldwide expire and delete each year, giving SnapNames customers access to literally millions of domain names the moment they come back on the market. The largest resale marketplace for domain names by volume, SnapNames closes hundreds of auctions each day at prices ranging from a few dollars to tens of thousands. The world's top registrars control a significant majority of the highest quality domain names that are not already owned by online businesses and professional collectors. SnapNames continues to add members of this elite registrar group, which now includes Moniker, Dotster, Register.com, Melbourne IT, DotRegistrar, DomainPeople, DirectNIC and many others. These partners offer their expired domains through SnapNames before they are available anywhere else in the public market, giving SnapNames customers exclusive access to some of the highest value?and best priced?domain names on the market. Any questions let me know! |

				 | Hi jrzeygirl, I've been backordering some domains by SnapNames.com, and I am curious one thing, are my backorders visible to someone beside me? I mean, when I do a domain backorder can someone see that the domain is backordered by someone else if a bid has standard value of 59? |

The answer to your question is no. If someone were to search for the domain on Snapnames.com, it would appear as a backorder with zero bids. No one but you sees that. If you have any additional questions feel free to email me directly! | |
