Stinky, in the first set of pix you posted, you proved once again that you are lame/inconsiderate (as usual), and that you are lazy or still suffering from ADD (despite the pills you have to pop to combat it), to not resize your photos - and that's if you even took them yourself (since you're pretty much known to be a shady character around here).

Honestly, Deej's pix were far better than your first batch, and your second batch is really boring.

This is just the beginning.

All i have now is a canon 40d with the stock lens... a new lens is next... a high end wide angle... then macro maybe...

along with that all I have is a nice manfrotto tripod.. the rest is coming...

photography is growing into a hobby. Ive always like dit, but now im trying to do it

If I buy a high quality high powered camera, are photos like this something I can replicate by simply taking pics using the camera, or are you also using special light/effects and editing software afterward? I'm revealing my utter ignorance about photography. Pics like these are just so cool.

I was researching that exact camera. I believe they just came out with 50d recently with the only major difference being improved resolution. SLRs are expensive but I guess you have it for life so it's worth it. I also have a manfrotoo tripod!

yea, the fuckers came out with the 50 right afetr i got my 40... i think the only dif is it rocks a newer digic processor. well, that and a 3 inch LCD screen instead of 2.5.... So yea.... enhanced resolution.

Eh? Got it from the light coming into my camera lol. Shot those with a Nikon D60 btw. Standard kit 18-55 lense. Have an 18-200 lens too but didn't have it when I shot these. Thanks for the compliments those that gave them. And quantam x post some of your shit damnit. lol

Only one with much photoshop at all is the black and white Eat at joes one. All the others just have hue, saturation, and contrast adjustments only, and nothing major. Thats right out the camera folks.

Thanks, and to the retard bitching about resizing, plenty of warning in the thread title, and frankly they look better at a larger res. Since my camera shoots nearly double the res that I posted it had little to so with not resizing, had to do with leaving them in a res people would enjoy more if they open the pics in a new tab. Some dumb ass cunts on this board. Sorry my talent is so mediocre. I supposed you might better demonstrate that by posting examples of your outdoor scenic work.

OH and since I can post the full size originals, and you are welcome to check out the exif info. Its funny you doubt they are mine, yet call them crap at the same time. I barely did anythign at all to some of these pictures... not all... these are damn near right off the camera...

I up the sat barely... and the reflection lake one is the only one i fiddled with colors, simply to get that deeper blue reflection coming out in the lake...

Other than that, yes... the camera does the work... I mean, you DO have to find the spots which is the main part. But then you also have to fiddle with your settings to get optimal results.

Since I got this 40D I have tried to use ONLY Manual mode to learn all the proper settings for certain circumstances.

take the pink shots for instance... they are barely touched and all the blur is from the camera itself... Its all in the aperture and exposure
