To the posters saying that the U.S. economy is too weak for war, I refer you to the Great Depression. War is what got the U.S. out of it. In fact, I'm sure there are plenty of sick pricks in the U.S. that would welcome war for this very reason.
The state of the U.S. economy has no bearing as being a preventative measure against a wide, multi-nation war. If history truly repeats itself, it would be welcomed by some in a macabre fashion. |
