I must have 10-12 pairs of Converse in various colours, as well as a bunch of assorted other brands and probably another dozen or so dress shoes in a variety ofshapes and colours. A Shoe fetish ? My family seems to think so

I have a ton of running shoes and people give me a hard time for it. What people that don't run a lot don't understand, in my case, is that even though the shoe LOOKS fine, they wear out in about 6 months. So I have a huge pile of shoes that look fine, but aren't good fo running in anymore.

I have two pairs. One I wear when I actually wear sneakers and one I work out in the yard with. I am ready for a new pair which will in turn allow me to throw out my "yard" shoes and demote my "good" sneakers to "yard" status.

        It's about a 6 month cycle. I'm more of a "flip-flops" kind of guy.

I have a ton of shoes. I'm really addicted to anything slip on. I go through them fast but I usually never pay anything more than $10 or so, I hit up Ross alot.

But I do really love a good pair of sneakers.. these were my favorite ever:

I had a pair in Navy Blue, wore them until the soles were pretty much gone. Haven't brought myself to throw them away yet, just taking up room in the closet. Guess I should do that when I get home, not like you can resole a tennis shoe.

Reminds me, in the mid 90's I was shipping about 500 pairs of Airmax sneakers to Japan monthly during one of their trendy crazes... Easy monay!

I still have some of the older original models new in boxes.

I had a pair of "New Balance" greys that lasted me almost 4 years. Finally threw them out when my big toe dug through the leather.. and there was no tread surface left.

Usually the cheap shit I buy lasts a few months.

I'm still working on the pair that I bought in the early 90's, no shit, lol. Then again, I rarely leave the house, so it's not fair.

But, hmm a man has 12 prs of sneakers.. COULD be considered fetish lol.
