It's an excellent idea, but I'd seriously be worried about privacy laws and all the rest of it.

I wouldn't want my location known to thousands of complete strangers. What if I was a hot chick, it showed roughly where I lived, and some stalker took a fancy to me?

Just playing devil's advocate.

As far as I can see, you can't drill down in the map any farther. So the profiles can be anywhere within at least a few city blocks.

ok I'm trying to get this working with an age range like so

but it doesn't seem to be working, its pulling down mostly the age range that I want but there are 21 year olds, 24 year olds etc scattered around the map.

Here is a quick thing why havent you guys launched iphone apps for your non adult targeted dating sites, and even done a dupe and rebrand of AFF for iphone consumption, then use a mix of tools like hot or not and geo location to allow people to do micro payments to hook up right in the same area?

We did something like that for US locations. We still need to tweak international spaces a bit. Having said that the maps still are converting for all locations.
