Founded Blue Blood (SpookyCash's parent company) in 1992 as a magazine and it expanded from there. First non-rock glossy mag writing clip I had was for Hustler's Chic circa 1989 or 1990 I think. (I'd have to get into some old boxes to say precisely when.) First site put up for us by a fan was 1994. First site we put together in-house was 1997.

MRock 05-26-2009 02:08 PM

LOL I still remember that day... that was my site Celebs By Us... but we have both made some mad bling since then together :thumbsup

Hell Puppy 05-26-2009 05:43 PM

You have to define "this biz" a bit...

I started making a living off the adult web in Spring 1997.

My first domain has a registration of 3-24-1993. And I kick my own ass at least once a week for not buying up a ton of 'em.

If you wanna include BBS, then that takes me back to the mid-80's. First porn i distributed had to be printed on a dot matrix printer and held at arms length to make the girl out of the ascii characters. yeah baby! :pimp

No, not back then. I first sent in photos to the webmaster of Dreamnet.com for a website back in winter of 1997, but my site didn't get built and go live until Feb 1998. I was hired by Streamray in August of 2004 and it's been a wonderful journey ever since :)

My first paycheck from Adult Check was in the summer of 99. Those were the days. I had such a good time. 19 years old and making cash hand over fist while in college.

you have done well my friend :)

First time I met you, nick and the crew in bc was a cool experiance - I mean it - you guys were fun as heck, very gracious, laid back, etc.

We were at the office I think and Lance was like yeh there is a dance club right across the street :)

good times mano..

Nice , thks man ;) It was a great time.We saw Prince Naseem fight I think at a golf club LOL :)

(( From 97-2002 there is a lot of times that are covered by "...I think..." ;-))

Started in 95.

I saw PKs counters clicked through her ads , assumed every surfer did and thought this is going to be easy.( So its PKs fault) :)

Had the number one Amateur site in the world in 96 ...and was earning fuck all. LOL

Then I started talking to :
stonelaw , Philip Arumbula, followed quickly by ,The General, FM, Scottpb and Serge.

The first two got me in with the right people and the last 4 schooled me in this business

Anthony and I chatted last yr in Florida and he said "Dude everything you were doing then still works."

He is right , it fucking does. :)

Serge, LOL

You have an idea how many mils I have made. And my answer is simple. I spend waaay to much and have waaay too expensive tastes. ;-)))

PLUS...seriously...this business is sooooooooooooooooo easy. Seriously. Why leave a table laden with money . :)

Yngwie 05-26-2009 08:59 PM

I did.. 1997 actually.

Thats exactly how I see it.

However, I knew a guy back in '98 (and he still posts here) who used to say "this stuff is a sinking ship, it wont last 2 years" - and 11 years later, I still laugh at his ass everytime I think about that.
