Hitler was only small part of a big organization. If you would have killed Hitler in his childhood there would be likely someone else to replace him and likely someone more able. So as result there would be more victims and maybe Nazi's would not lose.

Wasn't there a show once where they went back in time to WWII and killed Hilter, and when they come back to the US in modern times they open up the hatch of their time machine and see Nazi banners everywhere - and discover that the Nazis won.
