mainstream and DP are painfully humorous to read at times

just noticed a thread there where a guy was "over the moon" for getting 111 uniques in a day for his new site, and there was a dozen "congrats" and "great job!" and "how did you do it?" and calling it a huge "success story", in all seriousness

the sad thing is this is the peer group of many "webmasters" these days and the nature of the competition there that are happy when they can make 15 cents an hour

Very much so.

I especially watching GFY'ers hit the board, and be banned almost instantaneously.

However, their suggestions section, and jhmattern, crazy rob's replies are particularly priceless comedy.

I like how they limit accounts to one, and actively seek out those using more than one account and ban them.

maybe it is good that some of these third world countries are very anti porn otherwise we'd have threads like that here on gfy where someone would say that they put up a wordpress blog and got 100 uniques in a day and there would be a dozen people congratulating him and god forbid orgasmically excited if they actually made a sale in a year

Man, I just checked it out and these people are struggling with adsense like making 10 bucks a day is hard as hell for them. I make a hell of a lot more than that and on a forum at that. I could be a top notch bro over there.

It's all mostly a bunch of top scammers and fraudsters from India scamming each other. Getting involved in that mix is a waste of time and resources. Hopefully your smarts tell you to get out before it turns into waste of money as well.

DP is a fucking retard zoo. It's population is 95% Indians who are stoked to make $3 a day and broke asses chasing their tails in circles. The only thing DP is good for, is making bank selling shitty information products and PLR products to clueless newbs.

It ranks only slightly higher than WarriorForum, which is at most times equally hilarious, but much more sad due to it's higher population of English speaking retards. But fo rthe most part again, the only eople who know anything or make any money around there are the ones selling shitty WSOs.

If you want to get in on a decent mainstream marketing community, you pretty much have to pay for it, or be invited into a private circle.

I feel that some mainstream webmaster boards/marketing boards have their far more of clueless
"marketers" than in adult.

One board I visit are majority clueless. Noobs posting "I made my first sale" WWOOP". And these noobs will get 1-2 pages wide threads.

There are 10+ threads started like this every week.

Majority members crave attention, wants to get in the spotlight, and that's
their main purpose for starting threads. (and some times to sell their shitty ebook)

Cluelessness, but wants themself to sound like they know how to make
money, when they sold $500 worth of "something" in 6 months, after trying for a year.

I guess there are certain expectations and atmosphere in online adult, none will get in
here and start and tell us "I made $1000 a month with XXX, this is how".

Most will laugh this off as failure. In mainstream boards you will hear a big crowd going "WoooW"

There are noobs in mainstream surely, and a few makes real money and they keep silent of "how" they did it. (not posting on boards atleast)

I mean, have anyone heard of the "Squidoo lens marketing", "article marketing" or "Social marketing" ?

Most mainstreamers are just very easy going, falling for the latest fads. Good for me!

The whole shit with this boards, are that everyone and their "mom" are trying to sell some online marketing material to you, it's "dillusional" some times.

On the adult section Its pretty easy to sell links and buy cheap sites but you really gotta watch out who you deal with I almost purchased a site from the guy who dident even own it. It was only because of a post on GFY that I realized the guy was a scammer
