Nice roller/shaker but in the middle we felt a solid jolt which made me actually get off the couch and do a quick check inside the house.

Ive been thru 2 hurricanes in the last 5 years. when a hurricane is coming you have time to leave or stock up.

Earthquake - ground moves, a few things fall off the shelf.you have notice to get out of the way of it. anywhere from 48-72 hours generally.
