    If you could live in any time period

    any time period of your choosing, except you could only go backwards... not into the future, and you don't have the benefit of keeping any of the current technology knowledge... would you? And if so, which time period would you choose and why?

    I think we take alot of stuff today for granted.... our big screen tvs, satellite communications and microwave ovens.... but at the same time, I think living back in the 1700's or something must not been a whole lotta fun either. Don't think I would choose to go back even if I could.

                          I would want to be a noble in Japan during the Heian period around 900A.D. I can have as many black-teethed wives as I want (dying your teeth back black back then was considered fashionable by the upper class).
