How to download more than 2 things in IE?

How can I download more than 2 files in Internet Explorer (6)? For example, I am downloading some movies off of http://www.racingflix.com/ and the third download times out and goes to a "The page cannot be displayed". Please help!

that's a server limit, it has nothing to do with your IE...

It's definitely a limit in IE. I use DAP all the time for 16 simult. connections on servers where IE only allows 2.

Thanks for the info, xanx.

Will this work in Windows XP? http://www.speedguide.net/Cable_mode...eg_win2k.shtml shows this fix as a Windows 2000 fix, which I know is very close to XP but it is not always the same as XP.

Yep I used this :
http://www.speedguide.net/Cable_mod...reg_win2k.shtml

that someone posted a couple of days ago, works fine for XP no problems at all. BUT it STILL limits you to 4 downloads instead of 2! which still sucks ass for movie downloads.

Whenever I wanna download movies I open up Mozilla latest version which is really as good as IE but loads to slowly for me. Anyways Netscape Mozilla lets you download 8 files at once. Great for ripping movies.

Shit I even found download managers were limited to 2 downloads at once. Why the fuck did microsoft do that? really stinks.

I remember when Netscape 4+ wasn't limited and I could download 14 movies at once.

Sammy

FYI, XXXPaysiteDesign's link above leads to this registry file: http://www.ieinfosite.co.uk/files/downloads.reg which contains:

--------------------
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings]
"MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=dword:00000019
"MaxConnectionsPerServer"=dword:00000019

Is it just me, or are a lot of the movie downloads on http://www.racingflix.com/ not working now? I'm not sure if it's due to http://www.racingflix.com/ itself or if it's the reg fix I just did that is fucking it up.
