Any strong willed intelligent breed needs to be trained and worked with. Anyone that knows anything about dogs at all knows that any dog breed if mistreated and or abused can become vicious, or simply can be trained to be such. Much of a dogs behavior can be attributed to it's training and upbringing and people that are unfamiliar with dogs or how their social structure works should probably not get any large breed especially a tenacious and often aggressive bully breed.
My little guy has been well socialized and trained so as to respond to hand signals as well as verbal commands and is ultra friendly to everyone and everything. He's just a big suck though even the cat puts him in his place

Ignore the haters, some people are assholes who have to have something to say about everything, but generally don't know squat about anything. I'm one of those people who think an animal should have its rights of giving birth at least once or fathering a litter of puppies/kittens/etc before having it's rights ripped from its paws... So we had our buddy who has another pit breed her so she can have a litter and then we're getting her fixed.
