nice car !!!

Sarah_Jayne 05-07-2009 05:04 AM

Sexy car and especially with that black finish.

pornguy 05-07-2009 06:09 AM

Its funny how people react to a V6.. I recall the Ford put out a Mustang SVO with a V6 that was faster than the V8 GT.

seeandsee 05-07-2009 06:13 AM

nice form outside, nothing special inside

CIVMatt 05-07-2009 06:17 AM

Typical GM - shitty interior

StaceyJo 05-07-2009 07:13 AM

OMG! She's so gorgeous.

DaddyHalbucks 05-07-2009 07:18 AM

Not bad looking, but I think I'd prefer a non-union car. I'd like something not made by Obama Motors Company.

Yep... build one here: http://www.chevrolet.com/allnewcamar...build-your-own

HorseShit 05-07-2009 07:21 AM

your dealership just now got one? LOL

they've been around here for a few months and the dealerships can't sell them

Useless Warrior 05-07-2009 07:24 AM

If I had a mullet, that would be the car I'd cruise high schools in. :thumbsup

John-ACWM 05-07-2009 08:41 AM

Killer face :thumbsup Awesome ride

Manowar 05-07-2009 08:43 AM

anyone on here got one yet?

Paper_Amar 05-07-2009 09:01 AM

I like the design on it, but cant get over the fact that American interiors just look cheap

vidvicious 05-07-2009 09:08 AM

Damn nice car .. I enjoyed my Camaro when i had it ... that's way hotter then a Charger ... maybe even a shebly

Sosa 05-07-2009 09:39 AM

The local dealership here got a red one in about a week ago. Sharp looking as well.

xNetworx 05-07-2009 09:43 AM

My buddy in AZ just picked up his SS after a month long wait. They added tons of options he didnt ask for and refused to pay for them. He got the car for 5k less than MSRP. He likes it and says people are taking photos of him everyhwere he goes and a cop even followed him around for a while just to drool over it.

BradM 05-07-2009 09:46 AM

I really don't like it. :/

yeah this v-6 puts out 304HP while the Mustang GT only has 325HP so the v-6 is not a slow car either but since I've only owned and ever wanted to own one the the 68 Camaro with a 327 v-8 I think my 2nd Camaro should also have the v-8 too. My sister told me she saw one at a Harley dealership and she said the car was loud like a old muscle car.

I think I'll go looking around this weekend and see if our Chevy dealership or a nearby one has one of these.

buyandsell 05-07-2009 12:20 PM

wow thats not a good sign that no-one wanted to bid on it

D Ghost 05-07-2009 02:05 PM

If it would have been a V-8, I would have been interested...

so let's look at this closer. They started the auction of a production v-6 Camaro that is not a limited edition model or anything at the MSRP and you think it's a bad sign cause no one bid on it at that price?

When was the last time you went to a car lot and saw the sticker price and said yup this is the car I want and I'll pay full sticker price :1orglaugh

Joe_Blow 05-07-2009 06:52 PM

Looking forward to seeing them on the road.

My friend has a Chevy dealership and he's been selling the Corvette ZR1 for well over the sticker price due to it's availability.

I'm sure the Camaro dealer thought there would be enough interest for the car that people would bid above sticker price for it. Looks like he found out they weren't that interested.

Adam X 05-07-2009 07:10 PM

why would anyone buy this in V6?

I saw one here in porn valley and the V6 sounds like a Honda. It's beyond weak.

They just took delivery of the car, which they won't allow test drives..

the dealerships are saying if you put $500 down and order one you'll be waiting until January to get it which is fucking ridiculous. They can't make these things faster?
I'd only order a 2SS V8 in black with the RS package ..black rims in that package.. looks sick.

You wont have to pay the gas guzzler tax bcuz MPG works out over 22.5 mpg on highway..
but frankly, I might settle for another Dodge in the meantime.. it would be worth it when buying a Charger/Challenger with a much nicer stereo/touch-screen the Camaro doesn't have.
Dodge has better electronics, although they install cheap wiring. I still want the Camaro.. check out this video..

Here's a couple pics from the Rolex 24 of a Camaro they were getting ready to race later this year. I really liked how they paid tribute to Mark Donohue and his legendary Camaro

you are talking about a ZR1 compared to a Camaro with a v-6 :1orglaugh

If this had been a v-8 I'll bet you might have seen more than 3 bidders for this car

oh I like that! :thumbsup

Has anyone see the Indy 500 Pace car for this year? it's going to be the 2010 Camaro but the graphics on it is ugly as fuck :disgust

Sad cause this is the 40th year since the 1969 Camaro was the 500 pace car and people think since this car is based off this car they should've made it to look like this retro pace care

but here it is Indy 500 Camaro 2010 pace car

evildick 05-07-2009 07:37 PM

Local dealerships seem to be getting nothing but V6's too. You'd think anyone that is going to spring for a new sports car would want the V8, so I don't know why they keep pushing the V6's.

I've got a 2000 SS convertible which I am rather fond of. :winkwink:

There would have been at least 4, lol. And I would probably pay a little over sticker, if it was the right color, package, etc.

MoneyRespect 05-07-2009 09:20 PM

Love the car but I'd be worried that they are going to take over the road soon and be too common..

2MuchMark 05-07-2009 10:24 PM

I ordered my 2010 Camaro 2SS RS 425hp back in February and I still don't have it yet. Dear says it will take another couple of weeks. Sigh

bbm 05-08-2009 12:01 AM

Camaro rule :)

Manowar 05-08-2009 12:10 AM

the thing about adding extras without asking happens all the time, i hate that kind of thing

Sure but these have just come out and this was the first one to the dealer right? If a car has a buzz around it should go for well over MSRP when the first ones hit the lots... look at the first GTR's, M3's etc dealers where slapping 10-20k or more on top

They've been talking up this Camaro for years and GM's realy betting on it to help save them. To me it sounds like they tried to auction it to cash in and sell it above MSRP but no-one was interested.

buyandsell 05-08-2009 06:02 AM

http://www.autospies.com/news/Dodge-...oo-Much-31593/

Dealers were putting $30k on some of the Dodge Challenger's

Actually, anything above MSRP was going to a local charity. Since it didn't sell for MSRP, the owner of the Chevy dealership wrote a $1000 check to the local charity anyway.

mOrrI 05-08-2009 07:55 AM

Man I want ONE!

I'll stand behind my comment there is a huge difference in demand for the v-6 version and the ss v-8. I went to ebay this morning and bids on the ss v-8's were at average $38k-$42k and that is over the MSRP
