I didn't get a chance to look at those backlinks, but I suspect alot of what helps some of the sites like youporn are the mainstream authority sites that may have linked to them at some time out of newsworthiness, youporn even has a wikipedia page of their own

On a no b.s. note... google doesn't send 9 million uniques a on every listing they have for those sites, in a month.. .let alone daily. If you want to beat them out, make a site the surfers like better - it's that simple. You will then deserve those listings...
