Yeah...Why was it a technical knock out and not just a knock out?

That was a fuckin' ass whippin.

That reminded me of Clubber Lang v Rocky Balboa in the first fight in Rocky III. Hatton got beat down.

because he wasn't counted out.

i thought hatton would be too big and strong, but he was totally outclassed and seems to have lost his punch resitance. manny was amazing, so fast and he's brought his power up from the lower weights. hatton has been king of the 140lb division for 4 years but it's now time for him to retire.

Best I've EVER seen Pacquiao look, that was amazing. I'm considering becoming a Pactard.

lol, yeah me too. 18 months ago talk of beating oscar and hatton would have been laughed at, but not now. a pbf fight is 50:50 going by his last 2 performances.

What really caught me off guard was when they showed their current weights a day after the weigh in, Pac being 148 and Hatton being 152. I thought for sure Pac was 138 at the weigh in without cutting any weight, so him coming in the day of the fight at 148 kind of blew me away, and negated one of the reasons I thought Hatton would win. That being said even the Pactards couldn't have envisioned him coming in and just dominating Hatton like that. I'm still stunned...

Had friends over for the fight and some poker. Stayed up till 4:20am our time to watch it and it was over in 6 minutes.

Lost some money I had on Hatton as well. Couldn't believe it tho, what a punch to knock him out. After the first round I told my friends I didnt see it going past round 2.. 2 minutes 55 seconds into the round my friends said "looks like you're wrong" and as soon as he finished saying it BAM knock out. I just looked at him and said "you were saying"

I wanted Hatton to win but I must admit the Pacman is a helluva boxer.

Hatton was not well prepd, as usual you'd expect his heavy straight punches. But those left and right hooks from Pacman took him off without a chance. I was hoping this would last for more than 8 rounds

it's pretty funny that after all his years of training with different managers, nobody ever made him stop tipping his right hook with that bob he did. I mean literally, he did that before EVERY right hook. Freddie Roach commented after the fight that they knew it was coming, and Manny popped him 3 different times as soon as Hatton bobbed. Very amateur IMO

How can this boxer get a fight with pacman, no guard, no style. He's slow and he don't seem creative enough to fight good boxers.

This is the second time I've seen him punched out. Boxing aint for him.

Wish I had put some money on but I totally forgot about this fight. Hell it had been the easiet 50% ROI ever(one of the fastest too). Sad to see someone so dominated, after all up building and promotion and Hatton was like a boxingbag to Packman.

lol, he's been the lineal unbeaten champ at 140 for 4 years, has beaten a p4p #3 top ten fighter at the time and legend in koysta tszyu, a p4p #8 fighter at the time in castillo, won belts at 2 weights. dominated the #2 in his division in the fight before this one, and his only 2 losses in 47 fights come against 2 of the best fighters of all time (and both p4p #1 at the time) where admitedly he was outclassed in both.

but you say he's not good enough to fight good boxers and boxing ain't for him? lol i should stick to watching another sport then becuase not many fighters retire with a record as good or better than that.
