Well, we used to make a lot of money with those back in the day. What about now? Tube sites taking money and surfers away or what?
Is there any money left in starting a new TGP or CJ ?

Yes, there still is money it in for sure. Not nearly as much as there used to be but its definetly not a lost cause.
One tip I would definetly give you is go TGP instead of MGP.
MGP is dieing a slow death but TGP has took a hit but is holding steady IMO.
Just like any business it pays to diversify out a bit. Start some niche blogs and some niche TGP's.Comment

I cranked out 22 new TGPs a year ago using a template and some simple code to generate a unique colour and background image for each site. They all look very similar and formulaic, but it's pretty much autopilot, hands off.
So for a couple of hours work and negligible amounts of bandwidth I have a very small network, but it's still profitable... only nets $500-$600 a year but that's still clear profit for a low level of effort.
(There are technical reasons I haven't been able to build it more... atm to trade with external sites they would need to trade with ALL 22 sites, which is impractical...)
I'm rambling, I guess IMHO with a lot of work you could make a nice looking TGP and make some $ from it... but probably not a great equivalent per hour rate... OR, you could find a script/scripts that will automate both thumbing and trading and crank out cookie cutter sites that may not look so pretty and may not make so much individually, but as a network they're profitable and require very little attention.
^ This is easier said than done of course... I've developed my autothumb and trading system over a few years...Comment

I would only go with high quality pictures,
there is plenty of room for these types of sites.
They also have good retention and loyal visitors.
Although, I guess you could achieve this through a blog instead of TGP, like badgirlsblog.10 years of experience in:

figure out how to make $1-10/day average with a site... should be easily obtainable with a tgp and just keep duplicating that... really this is the key to making money online... I see so many people making love to 1-2 sites... fuck that... multiplication is the key to success.

I make a little $$ on mine. I have 1 and building 3 more. It's a bit of work for me cuz I'm still learning the code mumbo jumbo. But once this learning curve is over I hope to make a good steady stream of $$.
I'm using TGPX server edition BTWComment
