New Macbook Question

How does the new Macbooks stay cool? They have no ventilation ducks? I got the new 2.4 ghz model. It never gets hot even underneath the laptop.

When I am at home I connect my new 17 inch macbook pro to an external monitor while keepint the lid down. In spite of that, the macbook doesn't get warm and hardly makes any noise.

I recentely switched from a pc to a mac but I will never go back!

I have a permanent red spot on my leg from sitting with my Macbook on my lap. I don't think I've owned another laptop that got this hot.

mine burns up .. especially after a heavy editing session ..

I find it heats up faster when it's plugged in then when it's on battery power ... is this even possible ?

It'd usually get hot when you are doing proc/graphics intensive applications like video editing ;).
