I bet it is a significant part of their net profit as so many people buy a decent domain and then just leave it parked with them.

they also have a program that you can share profit from your parked domain using adsense, you can even use porn domains, and they give you porn templates to use.

But there is a catch, they will just rip you off when it comes time to pay

I tried it on a parked domain , totally forgot about it , then i got a letter from godaddy saying there was click fraud on it or something, even though it was a useless parked domain i wasnt using and certainly wasnt frauding.

There is also some sort of fee to use their parking system. Like I want to pay to park my stuff.
