Making $ with blogs on subdomains?
Has anybody been successful with this? I haven't tried subdomains or WPMU with original posts, but I have done domains. When a blog is on a domain by itself, it makes money. Would it have the same effect if you use subdomains, or will Google think you suck and not give you as good of a ranking?
I have searched 15 keywords/phrases in Google but no subdomains are coming up in the top 10.

yeah for big terms not many subdomains if at all - although for stuff likes niches, pornstar and paysite names plenty of subdomains, usually on free blog hosts.

ultimately it's about quality backlinks. a subdomain can outrank the domain its on if its better optimized and has more links.
