I think this guy likes World of Warcraft a little too much (PICS)
Multiboxing 36 characters at once. He is his own 1 man guild lol. He pays something insane like 6k per year in subscription fees according to the Yahoo article.

you realize its impossible to play that many by yourself and running bots in WOW is against TOS and will get you terminated, so either your article is bullshit or this is fake.
he doesnt have enough fingers or hands to make each charachter move at once to be able to do anything... if anything he is a gold botter and that is nothing to encourage, nor do their operations last long.
I played with a guy who had a 6 box team of level 80 shamans he controlled as a single moving unit and they were amazingly powerful to have in a raid group. 36 would be kind of ridiculous though but gold farming and selling powerlevels probably make him his money back easily.

Multiboxing is NOT against the Blizzard TOS. That is a fact and has been repeatedly addressed in their forums. I repeat, he is doing NOTHING against the TOS.
Unless he is selling the accounts on EBAY or selling gold, he is legit. I'm sure he does, but he hasn't gotten caught.
And yes, you can control that many at once with macros, KVM switches, etc. I'm not saying it's easy but it can be done.

I did not say multiboxing was, botting IS.
I use macros, pvp and play a healer, i know limits of what you can do. Macros will not control 36 chars. Period. Especially through any serious raid/dungeon.
Multiboxing is a term used to denote one user playing multiple accounts simultaneously. This can be done using one or more machines. Solutions exist for both the PC and Mac. There are also solutions for using both PC and Mac at the same time. The following pages contain more detailed information than presented here, Multiboxing hardware, Multiboxing software, and Multiboxing macros.
For some players there is not enough challenge in playing only one character at a time. Others look to recreate the feel of old time Computer Role Playing Games where a well designed team was used to adventure together. There are also some who don't want to rely on others to play the game when one character is not enough.
NOTE: Posting to Blizzard's Customer Service Forum to debate the 'legality' of Multiboxing is likely to result in a swift threadlock. The topic has been discussed numerous times before. Please refer to the following threads, linked from the Customer Service Compendium sticky discussing the legality - Bots in BG Multiboxing, rules, and semantics, and finally, an explanation as to why it is not automation. If you wish to see a change in Blizzard policy, please post to Blizz's WoW Suggestions Forum.

multiboxing is not effective for gold farming. period. this guys simply has a power trip(pvp) or is antisocial to the point where he really doesn't want to group with anyone(pve).

Multiboxing is not botting as the player still controls every character. Blizzard has a thread about this where they state it's perfectly legal and you can't get banned for it.
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
I read that article in Wired magazine not long ago about the guy who was making $250m / year selling wow gold, he also started out by playing day and night on several pcs.
Those guys make a KILLING selling player money vs real cash.....there are companies employing hundreds of guys like this!
Or training player chrs for real cash the list goes on.
Its not legal and accounts are banned ALL the time, they just dont give a shit lol
