why are you selling everything? getting out of adult biz?
Nope. I am not going anywhere. I am already shooting for new site(s) and company.
Basically I am just getting out of a partnership, and selling off those pieces so that business partner can get his 30% for his legal grief from last years boat explosion.
More a less starting over. Keeping the content library from old company, and licensing more of it in clip store, and content deals for those needing some good converting niche content. But moving forward, I am just starting all over. New house, new girls, new photographers, lights, gear, site, domains, clip stores. The whole deal.
I should have around 100+ scenes shot in 3-4 months. I have no real worries because I have 10+ years in my niche, established newsletters, sites, and trusted niche traffic.
In the end, it will be a better product moving forward with less grief.

why dont you just pay your partner his share and keep everything.

your not asking for much anyway (with the sale)
I already paid him a good $XX,XXX chunk of money for the library rights outright.
I figured that would be enough and we could close up shop and pinky wave into the sunset. Basically foregoing the selling off the sites and stores under that company name (I would just close them). With the economy, and the state of this industry, I had told him that there is no way you are going to get market value on the sites, plus I did not want the hassle of trying to deal with all that... sites, stores, domains, etc..
However, he wants his 30% out of all assets, so I told him I would fire sale everything and then he could get his percent. I was going to start over completely regardless of store closing or selling after partnership dissolved for both personal and professional reasons.
