why are you selling this stuff instead of your partner?
It's always a little suspect when someone is doing something for their "partner" and not for their self. Being that you said "your partner" would be getting all the proceeds from the fire sale.
Seems to me like you are catching quite a few headaches for doing the sale yourself, certain things in question, etc. Would seem more simple just to let your partner take care of it himself, after all it's his profit we are talking about.
I'm honestly curious, really not trying to be a bastard. I really don't care about the whole stolen content issue, but more interested in the absence of this partner and the way you deflect everyone's negative comments by just gathering some random negative info about them and posting it as if it had some relevance to your issue. It's intelligent the way your not hiding from those threads, but your still not addressing the concerns raised.. you just keep tap dancing.
Again, I could care less about the content theft issue. Just from a third party perspective who isn't partial to any side something about it seems amiss.

Easy enough answer. Business partner was a money man. Little computer knowledge.
His responsibilities were, the house to shoot at, the stills, the accounting.
Everything else I did. So he would not have a fucking clue on where to sell anything. But he needs money, and I already purchased the rights for content library. So that leaves clip stores, websites, and whatever. I wanted to simply close them, have him sign off the the partnership, close the business accounts and line of credit and be done.
However, since he needs all the money for his lawsuits, he sees the clip stores, content, and websites/url's as extra money. So even if sold for way below market value, he wants the money from them. I am not going to front him that money.
So selling off the assets for a song gets him the money for the assets, I get my signature on end of partnership, close accounts, and he can be on his merry lawsuit way.
I covered it in some other threads, but I do not expect everyone to read my every word. So it is easy enough to miss. However, simple enough answer.Comment
