The fact that there apparently are lots of people who want "Where's Waldo?" to be banned from libraries makes me fear for the future of the human race.

Couple authors got hit a few times and not for "series" books. Kind of odd.

Mentally healthy people are aware of the fact that the witchcraft described in the book isn't actually real.

Religious people think it's very real, and are afraid of it.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that most of those pushing for such censorship are doing so based on some form of religious motivation.

What a pity that such people can't be happy exercising their right to simply not read those books but instead want to prevent anyone and everyone else from enjoying them.

People like that very much sicken me.

Anyone who thinks banning ANY book is fine, thinks so because they can't use reading comprehension in the first place.

I'd go as far as to say bookbanning in general is religiously motivated. 100%. I for one would like to see the bible banned from hotels and motels worldwide...

I got a buddy who used to throw out the bible and replace it with a copy of Twilight of the Idols & The Antichrist in just about every hotel he stayed in.
