I moved here a year ago - Love it !!

Beach - Sun - Hot Babes !!! ( Don't tell the wife)

flpartyduo2 06-22-2009 06:08 AM

We lived in Ft. Lauderdale for seven years. Haulover Beach is a legal nude beach, Trapeze swing club and wonderful weather 9 months of the year (summer is a little rough).

hot latinas, nice weather, no last call at night clubs, beaches everywhere, etc.

Orlando theoretically has the most to do. you are no more then 70 minutes from the beach in any direction. we have kennedy space center, all major theme parks, great theme reasturants, DID I MENTION ROLLER COASTERS. major league baseball spring training and magic basketball. orlando predetors arena football when it comes up. the latinas are bitches here. we have a bunch of night clubs in downtown. LAST CALL IS AT 2 AM. lots of local bands. plenty of rich areas to visit. terrible traffic! a huge convention center. a new arena opening in 2010 for the basketball season. lots of ho's from craigslist. our heat is a humid hot so it sucks. our cold is a humid cold so what is 50 degrees feels like a stingy 28 to most people. i can walk around ohio in short sleeves and jeans and be fine in 32 degree weather, in orlando im freezing in 55 degree weather. we have orange trees. we will be getting a 400 ft ferris wheel by 2010 as well in orlando. anything else ill let ya know. ohhhh yeah HURRICANES that is from june 1st to november 1st. sometimes they come after but rare.

tranza 06-22-2009 07:26 AM

Good luck there and have some fun

Are you serious? Halloween is awesome here in South Florida.

My friends and I usually go to the Seminole Hard Rock, downtown West Palm Beach and Key West (Fantasy Fest) for Halloween.

The girls dress really sexy since the weather is so warm. Halloween is by far my favorite holiday. :thumbsup

Yes and there is a place the locals call "33rd street" for anyone wanting to test this option out in orlando. Stay the fuck outta orlando unless u have your kids and babymomma in a minivan with out of state tags with you. If you're a single guy out alone at night it is assumed you're creeping up O.B.T. up to no good. You were warned dude.

xxweekxx 06-25-2009 08:20 AM

the heck is O.B.T

Orange blossom trail. Main strip right off the airport. Also a HUGE hoe track that stretches about 15 miles or so. So I've heard :winkwink:

Marquis85 06-25-2009 08:25 AM

it depends on where in FL. I'd stay away from the college cities, except for miami of course.

CIVMatt 06-26-2009 07:52 AM

I'm looking at obt right now, have to cruise it everyday

Kiwigirl 06-26-2009 09:48 AM

Tampa area rocks....loads to do, great weather....I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the USA. :)

dirtybrown 06-26-2009 11:35 AM

I've been living in Jacksonville for a few years. It's alright been tied to some good jobs that keep me here, but actually think s. FL is the place to be really. Many have pointed out that demographically, most of the people living here are either white or black, with smaller numbers of other minorities. It can be boring after you've been to all of the spots, but the beach area is nice sort of like Ybor city in Tampa just smaller. On the minus side, the downtown area looks like a dump. Pluses: tons of creeks, rivers, inlets allow for many different kinds of water sport activities.

It's cool to watch titties jiggle around while on a boat.

actually the part you are referring to is nowhere near the airport. is right by interstate 4. we do not call it 33rd street. we simply call it 33rd(the jail that is on 33rd street is the reference.)
Obt refers to 441 which is called orange blossom trail. a very long road. the very bad part is right by kaley ave. just call me the human orlando mapquest.

Be ready for plenty of STDs

solopimps 06-26-2009 02:29 PM

At the beginning of your thread you mentioned something about considering AZ, if you make your way here, be ready to sweat your ass off...It's hot, all the time! I wouldn't recommend visiting anywhere besides Phoenix if your looking for a college/club/girls scene.

xxweekxx 06-28-2009 08:53 AM

how many months does it rain a year in tampa? basically how long is the rainy season

xxweekxx 06-29-2009 06:12 PM

bump guys still need ideas

CS-Jay 06-29-2009 07:04 PM

I live in West Palm and I say Tampa, I have so much fun everytime I go there. South Howard street is the place to be.

kush 06-29-2009 07:14 PM

Anybody ever lived in Ft Walton Beach?

I had considered moving there before.

Pornwolf 06-29-2009 07:26 PM

If you are gonna move to FL why do it half assed? Miami Beach or nothing. As a matter of fact, go straight to 44th st or lower.

And compared to FL, AZ doesn't come close.

raven1083 06-29-2009 08:00 PM

have a great day.

20 years ago that stretch of OBT was out of control but I must admit they have cleaned it up quite a bit
especially the stretch between I4 and the Florida Mall

ReGGs 06-30-2009 07:11 AM

I suggest south east florida. Orlando may have a lot to do but that city is shit compared to any town in south east florida. Depending on how much you wanna go out you should move to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, or West Palm respectively. Tampa is alright but it's a little bland and north florida is really bible belt territory. Lived further north for a couple years and it made me realize how much better it is down south. Check the local craigslist for places to rent on the beach. There should be a ton of cheap ones. 600/wk ish.

getreal 06-30-2009 01:38 PM

Lived in Ft.Lauderdale area for 18 years. West coast seems a bit of a sleepy town, north FL sort of a yahoo town. Here you have a metropolitan climate and all you need: culture, fun, education, good airports, exotic cruises. Like everything else may get boring after few years, but for short mental brakes from flat FL, mountains in NC/TN are not too far, 10 hours. Give it a try )
