:mad More iBill bullshit....

The wonderful fucknuts at iBill strike again. Even though I elected to stop accepting Visa and not get charged $750, they have gone ahead and deducted the amount anyway because I had a few rebills with them. Fuck them, I never agreed to that and they pass of some words in their contract like they are authorized to do so. Well they aren't.

Just a heads up, since their registration process leads you to believe you actually have a choice. But you don't.

This is their fuckup - you should not be responsible for that. I remember that I saw something like that in another thread.

Did you try to contact them, what did they say?

I sent them an e-mail this morning telling them I do not authorize the $750 deduction and to cancel my $10 in rebills from them, lol.

But they are Nazi's and probably won't.

I suggest contacting your sales rep by phone. This has always been more successful than emailing ... well it's a cyber company, you know.

With the $750.00 bullshit, why fuck with 3rd party billers. They scrub to hard and they take a huge a chunk of your HARD EARNED money. I say suck up the up-front cost of a merchant account and you'll be way better off in the long run. Depending on your revenue you could likely recover the up-front expense in just a few months because your sign-ups will increase without the hyper-scrubber running and you'll be paying much lower transaction fees! Just my

My sales rep at iBill is about as useful as genital wart. Never any flexibility with her. She always forgets stuff, never goes to bat for me, etc.

I'll probably close up shop with them by the end of the year.

With huge application fees and long term commitments, sometimes it's just not worth it. You have to pay someone like Jettis or iBill anyway (to interface with your merchant account). Then there are your ACH (check) agreements and LEC billing (phone billing) agreements, etc.

Finally, scrubbing isn't entirely a bad thing. It does save you from chargebacks, which your merchant bank obviously frowns upon.

Going with a 3rd process will perhaps save you a few percentage points, but unfortunately, perhaps not enough to drop them. ;(

Yes you have, it's just that you don't know it. Your rights are violated by them all the time, but most people have zero business sense or balls to do something about it.

What % are you at with them?
