ppl love fantasy and the show may deliver, but that doesnt take away the product placements and clear indication that this family has moved from welfarish sitatuion to huge house, get year supplies of food, free trips, and much much more.
my grandmother had 7 kids and didnt have a show, these people are just exploiting their kids and ppl with/without kids sit at home and believe the story.
jon quit his job in 2007, and neither of them have income outside of the show, so i wouldnt argue they have to "manage money" like the rest of the world lol
theyve gotten more handouts than wall street lol

It is also possible that I saw an early episode when they weren't yet rolling in it. Like I said, I have caught the odd episode on British cable tv. So, it isn't going to be an up to date show. The couple times I have watched I watched just as much to see my home area than them.
As far as your grandmother..she sounds like a strong woman but if all 7 arrived at the same time I bet she would have loved some help.
