There was a family dramedy on Fox called "Get Real" that was a really good show and was cancelled after the first season.

Yeah, they manage to wrap it up. But it pretty much ends in the same spot it begins (almost exactly actually) but after watching the show, it makes perfect sense.

The original version of "Cupid" with Jeremy Piven was really really good. Lasted only 1 season.

Oh man I was gonna come in here just to say Firefly. Serenity is a good movie that helps wrap it up but it really needed more seasons to play out.

Serenity also deserved to be more than one film but he just has no luck with that franchise.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

Both shows required more thought process than a typical "reality show" lover can muster up and networks love that. Reality shows are some of their biggest money makers and as long as folks support them, that's about all we're going to get.
