    Quality of camgirls seems pretty low...

                                          At one point I would have agreed with you, but back when I was doing blog posts for Camspot I had access to free cam shows that I would record and cut apart for the posts. Of course the first thing I did was go to the most beautiful girls, but some of their shows were like shooting up Nyquil they would put you to sleep so fast. When I started doing shows with the mediocre girls they would do all kinds of crazy shit and really entertain the hell out of you.

                                          I also think that guys do shows with mediocre girls because they feel they actually have a shot of hooking up with the girl, especially if they are doing cam to cam shows. Never underestimate the stupidity of a guy that think he is going to make some cam chick fall in love with him...

I've known some drop dead girls whose personality was either so poor you didn't want to be within a mile of her, or she was so fucking stupid you couldn't carry a logical conversation. Great body but zero personality equals zero for me.

                                                                  On the other hand I worked in call center for a large insurance company and many of those "plain Jane" girls could get you hard in two seconds. Being on the phone hones ones personality so they can "manipulate" the caller in certain directions. They were average wives and chicks from all walks of life. I have no doubts many of those girls would have done fantastic in front of the camera.

                                                                              I am not surprised. The people that buy webcams shows like a fun woman that has a personality. I do webcam shows and the customers always tell me so many of the women do not talk to them at all in the free area. They do not even say hi. No one wants to be treated like shit. Webcam shows are about fantasy. If you can not provide the fantasy, no ones cares how good looking you are.

                                                                                          Some studios go for the "quantity over quality" thing, and it works.

                                                                                          But webcams is 50% what you look like and 50% your what you say and do..
                                                                                          The real money is in regular cam customers that come back to talk and form a relationship with the girls, and some of them don't think they can do that with the "pornstar" 10 girls, they want someone that looks like they would actually have a chance with!
                                                                                          It goes the other way too, if you are super hot but don't put on a show that's worth 4.99, 5.99 a min then you aren't going to make it.
