video game rental V pirated copy

I mean really, how many games do you play for a day or 2 then you're done with? There's certain games on my Xbox that I know I'll play a ton so I go out and buy it (rock band 2) but then there's games like resident evil 5 that I play over a weekend, beat it and I'm done. Same with Fable...

Where I live the video game rental stores are a JOKE charging you like $8 to rent the game and they NEVER have games until weeks after release.

I mean really why WOULDNT I flash my xbox 360 drive? Also I had GH: metallica more than a week before it was even available to BUY! Played through the songs and went back to RB2

For the record when the quality is there I have no problem paying for it! I've spent about $30 on DLC for RB2 and spent the $5 to import RB1 tracks and bought track pack V2 and the acdc live discs. I've spent a few hundred on the rock band franchise easily and have bought madden every year at midnight release since I had my license. (I have it clear back to 95 on the genesis in the closet)

Anybody get pissed about dropping $60+tax on games you play for like 2-3 days tops? I sure do!

SImple fact is if you produce superior quality people WILL still pay! We're all very sick of dropping a ton of cash on average or bad content!

This is a forum for Webmasters we don't care about the quality of the product all we care about is getting that sale and praying to god they aren't smart enough to chargeback.

    Adult is quantity not quality.

I laugh at a lot of the webmasters in here trying to sell $40 memberships and don't feel like they are stealing.

I always say before you promote anything check the site out as if you are a surfer.

They defeated the try before you buy excuse for pirating games by offering demos for just about every game they've released so far.

Most of the shitty games with little to no replay value are also not being priced at the $59.99 price point. They're $49 and 39...sometimes less.

Playing games before they're released is a surefire way to get yourself banned from connecting to XBL. If you're going to do what you're doing, at least be somewhat smart about it.

      Spend you some brain.

OnLive.com seems like an interesting business model. Will be interesting to see if it meets the hype around it.

I experienced the same problem of burning through games quickly that have little replay value. I got GameFly. That way I can play the game and if it has awesome online like COD4 then I'll pay a couple more bucks to keep the game.

Overall, a good service even if the shipping is a little slow.

I never said I connected to live with pre-release games ;) I simply disconnect it when I want to play through a game thats not even out yet.

GH: Metallica is so poorly done that I'm glad I didn't fork $60 out for it! I'll gladly buy any addon rockband makes since i know I'll be able to play ALL of the songs in a single place! GH:WT gets a little bit of play time out of me though because they do have some tracks RB doesn't have and its nice to have a wide variety of songs to play.

Simply disconnecting it and playing the game and then reconnecting it when you're done isn't going to always be good enough. All that info is logged and your unit is tagged. They even tag the date you are awarded your achievements.

I've modded a TON of these for people. The only idiots who ever managed to get themselves banned were playing games a few weeks before release dates. One in the exact same manner you are doing it.

That's one fuck up there's no coming back from.
