Like when I am sitting in the bus for example, and you hear somebody talk nonsense for half an hour. Just because they are bored, they start to talk bullshit with another.

I can understand using a cash when you have it, but now a days it is just easier to use a debit/credit card. Don't get me started on people who still use checks...jeez! I think you really need to have one credit card, even if you don't use it. You need it to rent a car, check into a hotel, and more. Even if it is a pre-paid credit card you still should have one in your wallet just in case. Plus having a credit card with a good limit increases your credit rating.

Plus just think what would happen to our biz if everyone felt that way. Hard to take cash via a website.

i rarely use cash and I have 1 credit card I never use. My $ is in my check card

If i lose my wallet and I had cash in there I'm SOL. if I lose my wallet with a debit card in it... I just cancel the card :D

we have one small Credit account. I think its 3k. Empty but for national things like renting a car and airline tickets and what not.

Other wise its the debt card or cash.

I use my debit card all the time, and opened a few CC's to build my credit. Its mostly convenience. What if you ever wanted to buy a car or house? you think you'll get a loan with no previous credit? Even if you do its going to be an incredibly high interest rate. If you are one of the fortunate who makes enough to buy a house w/ straight cash more power to you, but most people can't =X

This thread made me think a little bit cuz I don't have a credit card anymore. I pay for things in cash and any bills are direct from account.

Where can I signup for an affiliate program where they will give me a master/visacard to use for accepting affiliate dollars. (i hope that made sense) cuz this industry cant use paypal cuz of TOS and thats the only account i have online.

I was looking at epass and some other links in sigs that give a visa card like epass but what else is out there.

I guess there is epass now but if you don't have a cc there will always be something you are unable to purchase online.

Not necessarily. Some banks will give you small loans for nothing as long as you can prove you can pay it off accordingly just to help you build credit.

I started building my credit by getting a $2.5k loan and paid it off, then moved up to a $20k a loan for my car and have been paying on that.

I don't use a credit card for the whole fact that I have a huge problem managing my money and I feel credit cards and checks just say "Hey, spend it now, and just try to make sure you have the money in there later!". I've got 2 debit cards for banks, and an epass/paypal card. Between the 4 of those, I got all my non-cash related purchases covered.
