    What do you invest in right now?

    Stocks?
    Real estate?
    gold?

    Name it!!!!

    Right now I only have oil stocks. Will probably invest in a small Canadian gas company soon also interested in one gold stock. I will post the names and some more in a day or two when I have more time, need to hit the bed in a bit. Some of the companies business plan is to build up HUGE reserves and pump up the production and then sell them to bigger gas/oil companies for top dollar

              I have a couple bank stocks and some other ones as well as Land and buying a house that the value of should triple over the next 3 to 5 years if not I will enjoy living in it.

                      its very clever if you invest in oil or gas companies that can still make you a lot of money but i think you should keep your stocks few more year coz in 5 year from now they will go down I just bought bank stocks and i hope they will go up very soon.

                                              There are so many great real estate deals out there...banks are just letting them go. My buddy just bought a house that appraised at $375k for $160k...but they bank kicked in $100k in renovations that he would have had to make...so he pretty much bought it for $60k. The bank wanted a quick sale and didn't care how much it would cost them.

                                                  My house! Got a hell of a deal on it IMO. Went in with equity and hoping in a few years the housing market will rise again and I can sell out.

                                                      Long term, real estate will be ok but i dont expect any serious gains for over 12 -16 years...

                                                      People forget the number of homes baby boomers will be leaving behind and are bound to hit the market as well.... thus inventory should still be very high keeping prices reasonable to low in alot of markets.
