Ray has been trying to get throttlebox working and so far has been unable to for us. What I want is something that will limit BW usage including usage of rippers. Strongbox seems to be blocking some users, however the problem of illegit users getting in remains. Without BW limiting, I can not prevent them from ripping the site.

I have problems with the strongbox, some members are logged in 1600 times...

Another option is PhantomFrog.

Definitely hit Bill up with Phantom Frog. It is very easy to set up bw limits, and his software will disable the members password, and send you and email when they reach the bw limit you set.

Strongbox rocks. Have used it on my site for many years. Moved over to a Mojohost server, and they offer proxypass, so I'm giving it a shot. since it's what they recommend/support.

can download. I'll call to go over some reports with you. I'll also let
you know what was going on with the server setting making the reports
time out sometimes.
