Webmaster account question...is the $$ you pay in software the same you pay designers

I mean in the same category?

like if I paid $500 for writers and $1,000 in software and $1,500 in hosting last year, can I lump it all together, or are they seperate categories?
Just because im in my PayPal right now in my payments made last year and I dont feel liek dividing it all up. Theres hundreds of payments lol

Hosting would probably be more of an "operations" type of category, while writers / software / design etc... would be under R&D.

Just guessing though, but it seems logical.

Well I will say some items would have a depreciation value instead of just a straight offset.
