To Fight or not to fight?

At a club having a good time, a random tries to have a go at you.
What do you do? Fight or not fight.

I don't like fighting, I don't get any enjoyment out of fighting but I don't like people putting sh*t on me either. But

As soon as I fight, I get kicked out = end of night in that club
I could get busted up and have to rock up on work on Monday looking like a derrolict.
I could bust them up then end up in trouble with the authorities potentially affecting my career.
I could bust them up then get jumped outside by his friends or later with retribution attacks.
Then again (esp. if you are with girls or something), you don't want to look like a p*ssy infront of them.

So what do you do?

You avoid the fight, that's always the right thing to do.....

But every now and then go ahead and risk everything and crack a motherfucker real
hard so that other people start doing like you and avoid fighting.

Some of us have to "sacrafice" ourselves to help deter the idiots who start this shit.

That guy would be slow to start a fight with you if I had cracked the shit out of
him a week ago.

It's always advisable to seek alternatives other than physical violence. Nothing good ever really comes from it. If your ego is unsustainable when having to back down from an inane confrontation, then you need to work on your self-esteem.

If he really pisses you off, do your research, learn about him, get him when hes not expecting it and alone and no one is watching.

I would be more impressed by a guy that knows when to walk away. There are certain instances where it is necessary to defend yourself physically but in one of the those cases where its over stupid shit like someone thought you were looking at him funny its stupid to fight.

I know girls that love when there guys get into fights and will even provoke a situation. That's not all girls. I worked in a bar for 10 years and I have seen many a fights. Out of all the ones I have seen maybe 2 or 3 where the guy was totally justified in throwing punches. Not only do I not want to date someone like that I don't want to hang out with someone like that.

Same thing you do with bullies ... pick out the "loud" one or the one with the problem....
punch the fucker in the mouth and turn around and see how many of his buddies back him...90% of bar fights end in no one throwing a punch... 10% end with 1 punch

Or have a girl or two from your entourage calm him down with their feminine charms and if he still wants to fight have one of them knee him in the balls. If he's smart he won't retaliate.

if someone attacks you physically...then its on..they attack your wife its on...etc

BUT handle your self accordingly .. the best defense is a strong offense ... assess the situation ... who is going to react to you when it all transpires .. be prepared to act immediately to counter and strike all who decide to become part of the fun ..plan your fight .. visualize the fight in your head .. walk through your steps and stick to them .. Do not be the antagonist .. do not back down .. do not raise your voice .. do not raise your hands .. clear tones dictating your actions if this piece of shit intends on continuing with this line of action .. watch for the shoulders .. the second they move in preparation to swing or attack .. strike out . usually a nice hammer to the button or throat shot and hyper-extended knee ends the situation .. but always have plan b-c-d in place .. if you are calm and controlled and have done your job well you will have no further conflict from the by standers .. then leave .. just leave .. there are tons of clubs and whores .. calm and collected .. leave ..

I have never been in a fight with anyone other than my little sister (she puts me to shame each and every time ). I don't know - I guess I don't see the point in fighting physically to sort something out. ??? I suppose that things escalate and get out of control...I tend to just deal and move on or sort it out without resorting to violence.

However, I thoroughly enjoy UFC.

Your right. i worked in bars for 8 years when i was in school. I got paid more because all of my toss outs and altercations when i was security did not end up in a hospital stay or law suit. I got more people out with a very polite conversation and an offer of a beer the next time they came back. I used to work security with a friend of mine named Eric Paulson.

And with about 18 years of BJJ and NHB training, i can easily identify a no win situation. I am no tough guy or do i claim to be. I know what i can do and what i can not do.

If you meet me, you will see that i am very polite, soft spoken and a respectful person. My demeanor never changes and i never raise my voice when confronted with any altercation. So when i go to "work", people never see it coming. When im done, i slip out of the location and say nothing. Getting sued sux ass!!!

This isn't me talking about hypotheticals and "what ifs". This has been a proven method for me.
