I want a pit so bad!! Was already to adopt one and they kept giving us the run around. The lady who was fostering him really didnt want to give him up. They are such great dogs.

Handsome owns...happiest pittbull ive ever seen and is hillarious to see him try to play with the chihuahuas

Beautiful pits. They get such a bad rap because of all the scum that breed them to fight. If trained correctly they can be great dogs that can be trusted shame so many out there are abused which causes them to act out

Awwwww thanks I think she's a great looking dog IMO, I have had all kinds of people ask if they can have puppys but she's fixed so no puppy's for her.

I have 5 dogs

and 3 kids its like a zoo at my house

You gotta be kidding me mine live with a 3 year old and a 7 year old have never had any issue's with them they guard kids as if they where their children. Also if you raise a puppy with the little boy i can guarantee you will never have an issue its all about training.

Or you can take one home with you after the phoenix forum in AZ. I can for sure find a perfect one for ya!

That is awesome did you see the post about he could never have a pit cause he has a little boy? You can vouch with me. I just started laughing my pits would never hurt a kid if their lives depended on it.

I do let them play together and the 7 year is actually doing the responsible things like feeding and walking the dogs but i usually am watching them. And your comment just goes to show that it is not the breed.

Good looking dog Jay. Reminds me of my AmStaff Jake. i had him for 14 years one of the hardest things i ever had to do was put him down.

I quoted the both of you, just so that you can see ronald never said what you said he said. Although ronald's English isn't perfect, it is pretty clear to me that he meant to say that he, his children, and his dogs all live together peacefully. When he said "if you raise a puppy with the little boy...," he meant that this is the best way to raise a puppy so that they are socialized with YOUR OWN children from a young age. This as opposed to adopting an adult Pit bull who was never socialized to be with children.

BTW, if you look at pictures from the early 1900s you will see that the Pit bull was one of the most popular family pets. You see them with children a lot in these pictures. They were very popular as family pets. So it's very sad to see what's happened to them these past couple of decades. People now want them because they are "tough looking." And that is one of the main reasons a lot of them end up in shelters.
