Smokers are pissing and moaning about the cost of cigarettes.

I second that.. I do my best to understand that not everyone smokes.
I also don't bitch about the cost or tax.. my smokes cost me $10-$13 a pack... And I have never bitched about the cost. Maybe its because I don't smoke that much...

I only have 1 issue with non smokers, And that's the number of "non" smokers that ask me for a smoke all night long... I know of some non smokers that smoke 2-3 times as much as I do when out for a drink.

Smoking in general is just stupid. It directly causes cancer, that is a fact, and you all do it day in and day out. It stains your teeth, makes you lose some of your sense of smell and makes you, your clothes, hair, car, house and everything else you have stink. It is probably the nastiest habit on earth and when I see someone light up given all the date available to us today regarding how bad for your health it is, it makes me think less of them. You honestly have to be a total fool to smoke these days knowing what it is doing to you and not be trying to stop. To smoke with no thought or effort to cut back or quit really shows how foolish you are.

With that said, you have every right to do it in your own home, so smoke if you got 'em.

they need to taxfast food as it would help deter people fro causing inevitable social issues and health costs system wide...

Not everyone that smokes is an asshole. I smoke and try to be very considerate of people that don't smoke. When smoking was still allowed in bars and resturants I would ask someone if they minded before I lit up beforehand. When I have nonsmokers in my house and car I dont smoke out of consideration for them.
