if it is 8, then it could possibly be 10 beause if you count the BIG one that holds them all you should also count the inverted ones housing the 3 on each side so 8 + 2 = 10

yeah, well, is an open question.... "how many triangles you can form" or "how many triangles are"

oh I'm not, just making a rough guestimate on the fact that I can see at least 32 triangles per side... but as I said, I'm kinda counting all haphazardly as it's still hard to concentrate at this point in the morning.
with the center triangles, puts me between 70 and 80... I guess. I don't know. I really gotta stop this, it's starting to hurt.

A small tip: count based on principles, don't count haphazardly. It's simple once you work out the efficient way to get the answer.
