CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Donny Long feels he hasn't received the recognition he deserves for his work in the adult video industry.
A performer in hundreds of porn scenes, Florida native Long runs the website XXXFilmJobs.com and runs a studio just down the street from TT Boy's operation in Chatsworth.
"AVN has never recognized me," Donny said. "That's my dick on the cover of Homegrown Amateurs, right on the cover of AVN Magazine in the Pure Play ad, but I've never gotten an award. You guys give awards to Tommy Pistol - my dick's twice the size of his, and he can't even act!"

With a potential banner ad at stake, AVN visited Donny Long Studios to investigate the man's strongly voiced complaint. Fully equipped for all phases of production, lights to mop, the 2,800 square-foot facility features all the porn window-dressing required for the Web age.
"I built this all myself," he said. "I've done over 700 scenes, shot a few hundred more, and right now I'm mostly renting the place out to other producers."
Still, some insist that mere mention of the name "Donny Long" lowers one's credibility to the level of sewage.
Donny's homo-hating Internet dust-ups with performer Christian XXX and relentless alt-ID spamming even got him banned from JM Productions' XXX Porn Talk (XPT), a site known for its tolerance of the terminally depraved. Moderator Tony Malice finally threatened to ban anyone who even posted the words "Donny Long" in the XPT forums.
You can't say the guy hasn't made an impact.
"Those guys are all retards," Donny told AVN. "I'm sick of JM. They should shut down that website; some of the stuff they post on there could really hurt our whole industry."
The notorious Mr. Long has launched many message-board attacks featuring the prolific use of a three-letter epithet that rhymes with "bag". He employs the word frequently in conversation to describe male performers who put others at risk by working with gays and transsexuals - hence the Christian beef.
Donny also has a running dispute with certain agency owners, who, he claims, feel threatened by XXXFilmJobs.
"Derek is a fag," he says, launching into one of many semi-coherent tirades regarding LA Direct Models owner Derek Hay. "I call him Derek Gay."
And yet Donny allows gays and trannies to register at XXXFilmJobs.
"I have a separate section for them," he explained. "I have to wonder: Don't they know who I am?"
Donny's career is a product of the Internet. He started doing scenes in Florida circa 2005 for Bang Bus, MILF Seekers, and other paysites. Since relocating to the San Fernando Valley, he's pulled a number of stunts to boost his industry profile.
There was the time Donny recruited girls and named them after himself in a kind of mini-Manson cult. And the many times he drove his loudly emblazoned XXXFilmJobs truck into situations that called for discretion. And, of course, there were those scenes with midgets.
"I've done it all," he said. "Right now, I'm focused on XXXFilmJobs and my studio. I don't give a shit what anyone says about me. It's all publicity."
