£29.95 per month for an ADSL line that generally gets about 420 when tested. That's a bit under $50 a month, but everything is more expensive here. Plus, with my AirPort network, its feeding four computers all over the house at nice speeds, so I get my money's worth out of it.

I'm on AT&T cable... most recent speed test (within the last 2 minutes) showed a raw speed of 2039572.02 bits (2Mb) per second, no caps. Cost: $49.95/month (and worth every cent!)

Pay the build out fee. A couple of Pairgain boxes
and you can put a T1 anywhere. Last time I went with
with T1 (ATM and ether extentions are a WAY better
way to go) was 1995 and the build out back then was
only $1700 and they had to tunnel under the street.

According to http://bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/survey.html it's 1.8 megabits per second, which they rated as "fantastic."

I'm on 1500 / 256 kps DSL, with 12 gig off peak and 3 gig on peak bandwidth for US$100 here in aussie. And belive me thats really good pricing for this amount of bandwidth.

Wish I had that DSL with unlimited bandwidth, damn i'd go crazy.

Sammy

Actually.. we're still at it with the cat. He finally had exploratory surgery on Wednesday cause he kept looking better.. than worse.. then better than worse.. Brought him back home yesterday... man.. if they'd never send people home in 24 hours after full blown abdominal surgery. Now I'm waiting on lab reports to find out if anything is cancerous or not.

Well Peekers...
let us know how things go with him.

I had a simular thing kinda with my cat a few years ago.
Scared me to death. I thought she was a goner.
Vet told me if I waited a day longer to bring her in, she wouldn't have made it.
