alrighty...I have been working on a mainstream multiplayer game based in flash for the past few months and it got me thinking about this(don't know why)...first let me say, I don't know enough about this to really say anything...but, I am a firm believer in brainstorming(= just throw out a bunch of ideas to maybe generate a new idea)...but anyway, why not offer your paysite content as swf files instead of video files..you can put all sorts of fun code in them(like they are only visible from your domain if they are on the web) -or- (and I don't know if you can convert a protected swf file into a video file)...but you could put a symbol infront of the movie(like a big black square) and then put some actionscript on frame 2 to remove that symbol.
again, this is just brainstorming....but it seems to me, there has to be something done. Tubes are raping your content and my sales and you are doing nothing. You can say that people will always figure out a way to steal your content...which is true..but you have to figure in 2 things.
1. Tubes are based on rapid updating. They are not going to steal from you if it takes 10 times longer than it takes to steal from your competitor.
2. You have to try something. I am so sick of seeing tube threads on this site with no original ideas on how to try to combat it. My experience has always been, --brainstorm to come up with a plan, ---try that plan out...---then learn from that plan's mistakes.
Keep in mind, I don't know enough about swf video to really say this is an option, but my experience says, ----seems viable---try it out--- make a judgement

or...just bitch about shit
