Nice. My best friend is just finishing up school now. Working on his 737 cert. He is an amazing net admin, had a thriving small business but just wasn't happy. He said fuck it, dropped most of his clients, kept a few that he works for remotely to pay the bills, moved to South Florida and started flight school in Ft. Lauderdale. Well, he partied for a year and then started school.Comment

He takes home a very nice check and what could be better than waking up, taking a jet down the runway and flying for a living. Almost Half of the month he is at home. Pretty freakin' cool.Comment

Airliner pilots were pulling about 150k plus awesome benefits probably 10 years ago, so I dunno what they make now but it's a decent check. Cargo hauler pilots don't make that much I don't think.
The problem with going to school is you are competing with all the military pilots from not just the normal services but also the reserves. I don't like to think about "Plan B" as it doesn't make you work as hard. But if say the internet was shut down and the DVD and magazine markets closed, and there was NO outlet for porn, anywhere, I would do two things:
1) Foreign real estate
2) Sell pussy on a grand scale

I might go finish law school, just because I love it.
I got to play lawyer for a friend who didn't have an attorney
the other day. The judge let me sit at the table and walk
my friend through it, telling her what questions to ask of witnesses
and such. So much fun.
Of course, if I had to get a job this week, I AM the type of guy who
has five computers running at home at the moment. One of those
has 17 hard drives attached, and they're connected via a rack
mount 24 port switch. So I just MIGHT do sysadmin / network
admin work, or web programing like I do for the adult biz. Same
