not bad but thanks for wasting my time lol

i went to go get a domain , went thru the signup process etc etc after filling in the credit card part it said " sorry we couldnt bill your card at this time", no " try another card" , no "maybe you filled something out wrong" just "sorry" .. nice kick in the pants , nothing puts me off a company more than stupid form errors.. btw the credit card form didnt offer any like country, it just assumed everyone was american i suppose.

btw card was payoneer, works fine everywhere else

The message displayed is a pass through of what comes back from your bank, also we take the country in earlier steps in the sign up process and its not used as part of the CC verification/authorization process. Please contact us directly at [email protected] and we can do it manually for you if still have trouble.

Thanks for the feedback Smokey, It's appreciated and we will be implementing some of the suggestions into the form process. Thanks again.

it took the country in earlier steps as canada just to let you know then gave the cc form as if i were american, just speaking from a programming perspective if the zip code format thinks its american and the addy is canadian it prob wouldnt go thru the cc auth or am i wrong.

SmokeyTheBear 03-25-2009 11:23 PM

just to let you know i just double checked, my account profile is canada , when i signed up it was canada , if i try and buy any domain the credit card form asks for USA zip code and addy with no option to change , i would imagine there is a problem with the form.

p.s. not a disgruntled client or competition , i have been a webair hosting customer for as long as i can remember.

wizzart 03-26-2009 12:20 AM

on godaddy it's still 7.69$

Namecheap charges for privacy on renewals. Will Webair be doing the same?

I have over 150+ domains I'd be willing to transfer to get started. Pay my transfer fees and you can keep my business for 3 years guaranteed. You have 300% income over 3 years. I get all my domains on your system and $1 cheaper rates per domain per renewal.

Hey bud, you know how to reach me. :) We can discuss this and your plan as well.

GoNe 04-16-2009 03:02 PM

Domain privacy will always be free or just first year? If always I might just move all my domains over.

Lilit 04-16-2009 03:17 PM

WOW...free private registration...

Now that sounds interesting:)
