      Quake Live is fun. Quake's always been a different kettle of fish to other FPSs - it's so, so, so fast, I come out with the fucking shakes.

      The skill matching needs a little tweaking: there are 'only' 5 levels, I'm between 4 and 5 - 4 I win, 5 I get my ass kicked.

      Still great way to get their product out there again

              I used to play 3d games, way back. Duke Nukem 3d, Quake 1, ...
              But all those online gamers are insane.
              I tried it out, once, and those kids are just too good for me. Not much fun, imho.

                          I wasn't a big fan of Q3. I loved Q1/QW though, those were the best gaming times I ever had.

                                      This might be a more friendly forum: I've played too much DoD and TF2, where the rockets are nowhere near as nuts as Q3A.

                                      Splash damage from rockets seems low in Q3A - what's the best technique? Aim for their feet, or for their body?

                                          Ahh, back in the day... rail arenas... I think it was DM17 Insta-Unlagged I used to play on. One shot one kill rail guns, bouncing all over the platforms. That was some hectic shit right there.
