Do you manage your own server, or does your host do it for you? Unless you're at a place like rack shack, get your host off his ass and get him to fix it.

I should say, do you run your own DNS server?

If you look at your DNS records, you'll see
yoursite.com xxx.xxx.xx.xx
(where the xxx.xxx.xx.xx is your IP).
In order for the domain to answer to the request for "www.yoursite.com", there also has to be a DNS record that says
www.yoursite.com xxx.xxx.xx.xx

These should be 'A' records, if you're doing it yourself.

Don't forget to restart your browser. Last time I had similar troubles I needed to restart my browser.

They don't have the "wildcards" set up on your server. It's a simple fix and all the domains on the box will run without the www. Much easier than doing it line by line for all the domains.

If you just recently registered the domain and set up the dns give it some time. Sometimes it takes a little while longer for www.domain.com to resolve than domain.com.
