I am looking to start an adult chat site or network and I want to call it PMchat.com.
I have owned this domain for a very long time - about ten years - but have never really developed it as I originally intended.

I have several servers and plenty of bandwidth, but aside from MIRC, I am not familiar with current chat proggys or chat networks to hook up with.

I am a systems admin by trade and very savvy in most server areas, but I am looking for someone to clue me in on this one.

If anyone can point me to a good proggy (and/or chat network), It would be sincerely appreciated.

I would also be interested in partnering up with someone with established credentials in this area.

10 year old domain, whatever you end up using do ON SITE SEO LIKE CRAZY! You'll absolutely kill it in the serps!

Actually, I would use some sort of Ajax chat that will return the chat text when spidered without a doubt. Get that chat text in the actual document! Archiving it would even be a good idea. Everyone who chats publicly is writing content for you.

I never had much luck with the flash based programs with more than 50 users. I didn;t like the privacy issue with the ajax chat that we tried - but each to their own I guess.
